Earlier this week, Dr. Diaz had the pleasure of fitting this lovely lady with a new set of hearing aids! Mrs. C is one of two people being fit, courtesy of The Charlie Bucy Project!
Mrs. C was struggling to hear, and her family noticed her challenges. They purchased an over the counter device (a pocket amplifier) to help her get by, but she still missed out on most of the conversations. About a week before Mrs. C was selected to be the first recipient, her family realized it was time to come up with a plan to get hearing devices, but they were not sure how they could move forward. They were so excited to get the call from Freedom Hearing Center advising that Mrs. C would be fit with brand new hearing devices, courtesy of The Charlie Bucy Project! We couldn’t be happier to help Mrs. C and her family enjoy conversations again! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Mrs. C, meeting her daughter, and helping her hear! There are big smiles behind the masks!
