COVID-19/Coronavirus Update

COVID-19/Coronavirus Update

In light of the current state of emergency in Maryland, Freedom Hearing Center, LLC will be taking precautions to protect our staff and patients from the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

First and foremost, we want you to know that we plan to remain open for all appointments and services during this time unless local officials advise otherwise. If it becomes necessary to change our operating hours, we will communicate this via another email update, post it on Facebook, and post it on our website.

For anyone coming into any of our offices, please know that staff members are actively cleaning and sanitizing high touch places such as doorknobs, desks, tables, chairs, and testing equipment. For the time being, we will limit personal contact with our patients and refrain from handshaking and hugging. To help prevent the spread of the virus, we ask that our patients and staff keep in mind the basics:

  • Monitor your symptoms and stay home and limit contact with others if you are sick
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes
  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer (at least 60% alcohol) when soap and water are unavailable
  • Avoid sharing household items
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
  • For more in-depth information on preventive measures, review the CDC guidelines by clicking HERE

Freedom Hearing Center, LLC will remain vigilant in staying up to date with all local and national recommendations regarding business closures. In the event that a patient or staff member contracts COVID-19, the affected office will be closed in order to clean and disinfect all surfaces. Any patient on the schedule for that office will be contacted to reschedule.

We ask that if you have a scheduled appointment and exhibit symptoms such as a fever, cough, body aches and/or fatigue please call and reschedule your appointment. If a patient or staff member reports a diagnosis of COVID-19, we will comply with all CDC recommendations, physician recommendations, and protocols.

Please know that the health of our patients, their family members, and our staff are always our top priority. This is a stressful time and we will do everything in our power to protect patients and staff while continuing to provide the highest level of patient care. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to any of our offices.

Be safe and take necessary precautions to stay healthy.
