Front Office Receptionist
The primary role of the front office receptionist is to answer the phones, manage the schedule, follow-up with patients, and act as a back-up patient care coordinator.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls
- Schedule appointments with current and future patients
- Follow up with existing patients utilizing the database
- General clerical assistance
- Attend staff meetings and front office meetings
- Attend training and education events as needed (some travel may be required)
- Act as a backup Patient Care Coordinator to cover for vacations/sick days as needed. (Travel to other Freedom Hearing Locations is required)
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1-2 years related experience
- Proficient with computers
Required Skills:
- Ability to handle heavy phone work in an energetic environment and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to multitask
- Proficient and competent in MS Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional appearance, dress, and telephone manner
- Attention to detail and excellent organization abilities
- Work independently on assigned tasks as well as take direction on needed assignments
