At Freedom Hearing Center, we not only place value in giving back in our local community, but we also greatly value giving back globally. There are many great charities in need, but this year we would like to spotlight an organization that we feel aligns with our mission and vision, which is the Hearing Health Foundation. This foundation focuses on research to find cures and treatments for hearing and balance disorders. Specifically, they have the Hearing restoration Project (HRP) which is investigating the regeneration of sensory cells in the ear, as well as providing grants through the Emerging Research Grants (EMG) to researchers that focus on “hearing and balance researchers who focus on researching underfunded areas of otology.” To find out more about the organization and how you can help, please check out their website at www.hearinghealthfoundation.org.
